Ø Explain how that the scientific method is a process. Ø Explain the difference between independent variable, dependent variables, and other variables. Ø Distinguish the important factors in the design of an experiment. Ø When given a research question, identify the independent and dependent variables and write a formal hypothesis. Ø Infer the importance of communication skills in science. Ø Apply the scientific method to a specific problem.
